§ 207 — Interpretation: what is an accessible format
207.—(1) A format is an “accessible format” if it is —(a)
any format that is accessible to persons with print disabilities, including —(i)
a large print version;
(ii)
an electronic book;
(iii)
a sound recording; and
(iv)
the format known as Digital Accessible Information System (DAISY); or
(b)
any format that is specifically designed to meet the needs of persons with print disabilities, including —(i)
a Braille version; and
(ii)
a photographic version.
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1)(b)(ii), a thing is in photographic version if it is produced as a film‑strip, or a series of separate transparencies, designed to meet the needs of persons with print disabilities.
