§ 531 — No revival or extension of protection for performances ceasing to be protected before 1 July 2004

531.—(1) This section applies where —(a)

a performance was given before 1 July 2004; and

(b)

the protection period of the performance, as defined in section 246(1) of the 1987 Act in force immediately before 1 July 2004, expired before that date.

(2) Part 4 does not apply to revive or extend the protection of the performance.
