§ 350 — Forfeiture of security
350.—(1) If the court is satisfied that the offender subject to a community order or any other person furnishing the security bond (as the case may be) has failed to comply with any condition specified in respect of any security bond furnished under section 349, the court may direct the forfeiture of the security or any part thereof.(2) The forfeiture of any security under this section does not prejudice the taking of proceedings against any person under this Part.
(3) Notice of the forfeiture of any security or any part thereof must be given to the offender subject to a community order or any other person furnishing the security bond, as the case may be.
(4) It is sufficient if the notice under subsection (3) is sent by registered post to the last known address of the offender subject to the community order or the other person, as the case may be.
