§ 11 — Criteria for registration or renewal of registration of qualified individuals
11.—(1) The Registrar must refuse to register, or to renew the registration of, a qualified individual —(a)
if the applicant is not or (in the case of an application to renew the registration of a qualified individual) ceases to be a qualified individual, or has not successfully completed a prescribed course or training;
(b)
if the Registrar is satisfied that the applicant is not a fit and proper person; or
(c)
if the applicant has had a previous registration as a registered qualified individual cancelled under section 21(2) or (3) less than 2 years before the date of his or her application for registration as a registered qualified individual.
(2) In determining for the purposes of subsection (1)(b) whether an applicant is a fit and proper person, the Registrar may consider such factors as may be prescribed.
