§ 14 — Penalty for obstructing authorised officer, etc., in course of duty

14. Any person who —(a)

hinders, obstructs or delays an authorised officer, an authorised person or other person authorised by an authorised officer in the performance or execution of his or her duty or of any thing which he or she is empowered or required to do under this Act; or

(b)

interferes with any works authorised or required to be done by any authorised officer, authorised person or other person authorised by an authorised officer under this Act,

shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
