§ 8G — Saving for banks, insurance companies and certain financial institutions

8G. Nothing in section 8A authorises the Minister to call for the production of books of a banking corporation or of any company carrying on insurance business or of any financial institution that is subject to control by the Monetary Authority of Singapore under sections 3 and 4 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2022 and nothing in section 8F authorises the Minister to conduct an investigation into any such corporation, company or financial institution.[Act 18 of 2022 wef 28/04/2023]
