§ 5 — Protection from personal liability

5. No liability shall lie personally against the Licensing Officer, an Assistant Licensing Officer, an authorised officer, a compliance officer, a police officer or any other person acting under the direction of the Licensing Officer for anything which is done or purported to be done, or omitted to be done, in good faith and with reasonable care in —(a)

the exercise or purported exercise of any power under this Act; or

(b)

the performance or purported performance of any function under this Act.
