§ 98 — Amendment of Electricity Act 2001

98. Section 2(1) of the Electricity Act 2001 is amended —(a)

by deleting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (b) of the definition of “electrical installation”; and

(b)

by inserting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (c) of the definition of “electrical installation”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(d)

an electric vehicle charger within the meaning of the Electric Vehicles Charging Act 2022;”.
