§ 99 — Amendment of Land Transport Authority of Singapore Act 1995

99. The Land Transport Authority of Singapore Act 1995 is amended —(a)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (fa) of section 6(1), the following paragraph:“(fb)

to regulate the supply of electric vehicle chargers, the provision of electric vehicle charging services and the operation of charging stations under the Electric Vehicles Charging Act 2022;”;

(b)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of section 6(1)(r)(vii);

(c)

by inserting the word “and” at the end of sub‑paragraph (viii) of section 6(1)(r), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub‑paragraph:“(ix)

all composition sums and financial penalties under the Electric Vehicles Charging Act 2022;”;

(d)

by deleting the full‑stop at the end of sub‑paragraph (c) of paragraph 16 of the Second Schedule and substituting a semi‑colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub‑paragraph:“(d)

a licence under the Electric Vehicles Charging Act 2022.”;

(e)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph 21 of the Second Schedule, the following paragraph:“22. All fees and charges prescribed under the Electric Vehicles Charging Act 2022.”; and

(f)

by inserting, immediately after item 7 of Part 2 of the Fifth Schedule, the following item:“8. All provisions of the Electric Vehicles Charging Act 2022 and any subsidiary legislation made under that Act for the purposes of that Act.”.
