§ 101 — Immunity for providing material, etc.

101.—(1) No liability, other than for an offence under section 100, shall lie against any person for —(a)

providing to the Authority any material or copy of any material, if the person had provided that material or copy with reasonable care and in good faith and in compliance with an order made under section 98(1)(b);

(b)

making a statement to the Authority with reasonable care and in good faith and in compliance with an order made under section 98(1)(c); or

(c)

doing or omitting to do any act, if the person had done or omitted to do the act with reasonable care and in good faith and as a result of complying with an order made under section 98(1)(b) or (c).

(2) Any person who complies with an order made under section 98(1)(b) or (c) is not to be treated as being in breach of any restriction upon the disclosure of information or thing imposed by any prescribed written law or any requirement imposed thereunder, any rule of law, any contract or any rule of professional conduct.
