§ 18 — Lapse of licence
18.—(1) Unless expired or earlier revoked under section 20, a licence lapses —(a)
if the licensee is —(i)
an individual — on the date the licensee dies; or
(ii)
a partnership or body corporate or an unincorporated association — on the date the partnership, body corporate or association ceases to exist; or[Act 11 of 2023 wef 26/06/2023]
(b)
on the date the last valid approval for any permanent premises, conveyance or other service delivery mode in respect of the licence is cancelled under section 20(3A).[Act 11 of 2023 wef 26/06/2023]
(2) No part of any licence fee or other fee may be refunded to the licensee upon the lapse of a licence under this section.
