§ 9 — Complaints of non-compliance
9.—(1) A landlord or a tenant under a qualifying lease may file with an authorised dispute resolution body a complaint that there has been a non‑compliance with a leasing principle in relation to their lease agreement.(2) The complaint of non-compliance must —(a)
be filed with an authorised dispute resolution body within the period, and in the form and manner, specified by the authorised dispute resolution body in its rules and procedures under section 10(2)(c);
(b)
be accompanied by any application fee that may be determined by the authorised dispute resolution body in its rules and procedures under section 10(2)(c); and
(c)
contain or be accompanied by —(i)
any information or documents that may be specified by the authorised dispute resolution body in its rules and procedures under section 10(2)(c); and
(ii)
any other information or documents that the applicant may consider to be relevant to the complaint of non‑compliance.
(3) A party that has filed a complaint of non‑compliance must notify the respondent of the complaint of non‑compliance within the period, and in the form and manner, specified by the authorised dispute resolution body in its rules and procedures under section 10(2)(c).
(4) The requirements in subsections (2) and (3) are subject to any provision to the contrary in the Regulations.

any information or documents that may be specified by the authorised dispute resolution body in its rules and procedures under section 10(2)(c); and
(ii)
any other information or documents that the applicant may consider to be relevant to the complaint of non‑compliance.
(3) A party that has filed a complaint of non‑compliance must notify the respondent of the complaint of non‑compliance within the period, and in the form and manner, specified by the authorised dispute resolution body in its rules and procedures under section 10(2)(c).
(4) The requirements in subsections (2) and (3) are subject to any provision to the contrary in the Regulations.
