§ 31 — Recovery of land betterment charge

31.—(1) Any land betterment charge is deemed, when it becomes due and payable at the expiry of the time so delimited by or under section 24, to be a debt due to the Government, and must be collected and received by the Authority in accordance with this Act.(2) Any land betterment charge that is unpaid may be recovered as a debt in any court of competent jurisdiction in the name of the Authority.
