Section 48 — Appeal does not excuse payment

An appeal against an appealable decision does not affect the operation of the appealable decision concerned or prevent the taking of action to implement the appealable decision concerned, and unless otherwise directed by the Minister under this section, that appealable decision must be complied with until the determination of the appeal.
