§ 29 — Access blocking order — content

29.—(1) An access blocking order is an order requiring the provider of an internet access service to take all reasonable steps to disable access by Singapore persons to the relevant location by means of that internet access service, by the time specified in the access blocking order.(2) The relevant location specified in the access blocking order must be —(a)

an online location of a proprietor who did not comply with a Part 2 direction in respect of that online location or online material accessible at that online location; or

(b)

an online location at which an online service of an online service provider can be accessed, if the online service provider did not comply with a Part 2 direction, a rectification notice, an implementation directive or a Part 6 order, in relation to —(i)

that online service; or

(ii)

any online activity, online service, online material, online account, app or online location that can be accessed on or through that online service.

(2) The relevant location specified in the access blocking order must be —(a)

an online location of a proprietor who did not comply with a Part 2 direction in respect of that online location or online material accessible at that online location; or

(b)

an online location at which an online service of an online service provider can be accessed, if the online service provider did not comply with a Part 2 direction, a rectification notice, an implementation directive or a Part 6 order, in relation to —(i)

that online service; or

(ii)

any online activity, online service, online material, online account, app or online location that can be accessed on or through that online service.
