§ 51 — Offences of non-compliance with rectification notice or implementation directive
51.—(1) A person commits an offence if the person —(a)
is given a rectification notice; and
(b)
without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with any requirement of the notice,
whether in Singapore or outside Singapore.
(2) A person commits an offence if the person —(a)
is given an implementation directive; and
(b)
without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with any requirement of the directive,
whether in Singapore or outside Singapore.
(3) A person who is guilty of an offence under subsection (1) or (2) shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1 million and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $100,000 for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction.
