Section 111 — Related amendment to Info-communications Media Development Authority Act 2016

(1)In the Info-communications Media Development Authority Act 2016, in section 5(1), after paragraph (e), insert —“(ea) to establish and administer systems in Singapore for the promotion of online safety including but not limited to any system necessary for the administration of the Online Safety (Relief and Accountability) Act 2025; (eb) to provide administrative and personnel support services to the Commissioner of Online Safety appointed under section 5 of the Online Safety (Relief and Accountability) Act 2025;”.

(2)For a period of 2 years after the date of commencement of this section, the Minister may, by order in the Gazette, make provisions of a saving or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of this section that the Minister may consider necessary or expedient.
