§ 24 — Exempt ride‑hail service operator does not need licence
24.—(1) The LTA may, with the approval of the Minister, by order in the Gazette, authorise any provider of a ride‑hail service to which the order applies as exempt from requiring a ride‑hail service licence for a specified period or indefinitely or to such an extent as may be specified in the order, and subject to such conditions as may be specified in that order.(2) An order under subsection (1) continues in force, unless it is revoked, for such period as may be specified in the order.
(3) The provision of a ride‑hail service by any person to which an order under subsection (1) applies is deemed authorised by this Act if it is done in accordance with the conditions of the order.
