Section 8 — Platform operator must notify Commissioner

(1)A person that satisfies the criteria to be a platform operator under section 4 must notify the Commissioner of that fact —

(a)within the prescribed time; and

(b)in the form and manner that the Commissioner requires.

(2)A notification under subsection (1) must —

(a)include the name and particulars of the person notifying and any other particulars prescribed; and

(b)be accompanied by the prescribed fee, if any.

(3)The Commissioner may, in relation to a notification submitted in accordance with subsection (1), require the person notifying to provide any other information or document that the Commissioner requires.
