§ 33 — Supplementary provisions

33.—(1) The Authority may, upon an application by a person, grant an extension of time within which the person is required by or under this Act to do or not to do any thing or work (whether for the same or less than the period of extension applied for), upon being satisfied that there are good reasons to do so.(2) No misnomer or inaccurate description of any person or place named or described in any document prepared, issued or given under or for the purposes of this Act affects the operation of this Act as respects that person or place, if that person or place is so designated in the document as to be identifiable.

(3) To avoid doubt, an identification card may be issued under section 29(5) or 30(3) in a digital form, consisting of evidence of the issue thereof to an individual using information relating to the appointment as an authorised officer or enforcement officer (as the case may be) of the individual that is displayed on a mobile communication device or other electronic device.
