Section 4 — Purposes of Act

The purposes of this Act are to regulate the operation of licensable SRHs, so as to ensure —

(a)the safety, welfare and wellbeing of residents of the licensable SRHs; and

(b)continuity of the provision of —

(i)residential accommodation; and

(ii)care, biopsychosocial intervention or support to carry out daily activities, to residents of the licensable SRHs.
