Section 22FR — Progress report on energy efficiency improvement plan

(1)Without affecting section 22FQ(1), the Commissioner of Building Control may issue a written direction to the owner of a Type 1 building to submit a progress report.

(2)The progress report must —

(a)set out the measures in the energy efficiency improvement plan that have been carried out in relation to the building; and

(b)be in the form and manner specified by the Commissioner of Building Control.

(3)An owner of a Type 1 building who, without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with a written direction mentioned in subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000.[Act 28 of 2024 wef 30/09/2025]
