Section 25F — Appeal against notice to maintain

(1)A person on whom a notice to maintain is served under section 25E(4) may, not later than the 21st day after the date the notice is served, appeal in the prescribed manner to the Minister against the notice.

(2)Despite an appeal being lodged under subsection (1), the notice to maintain being appealed against has effect and must be complied with unless the Minister orders otherwise.

(3)The Minister may determine an appeal under this section by confirming, varying or cancelling the notice to maintain.

(4)The Minister’s decision on any appeal under this section is final.[Act 12 of 2020 wef 01/10/2025]
