§ 292 — Application for FSSA authorisation

292.—(1) An application for an FSSA authorisation must be made to the Agency in accordance with this section.(2) An application for an FSSA authorisation must —(a)

be in the form and manner the Agency specifies;

(b)

be accompanied by an application fee (if prescribed) for the authorisation;

(c)

contain —(i)

an address in Singapore at which notices and other documents under this Act for the applicant may be served; or

(ii)

the name and address of one or more persons in Singapore authorised by the applicant to accept on the applicant’s behalf service of notices and other documents under this Act; and

(d)

be accompanied by the prescribed information, and any other additional information that the Agency requires to decide on the application.

(3) In addition, an application to renew an FSSA authorisation must be made no later than a prescribed period before the date of expiry of the authorisation, if prescribed.

(4) The Agency may refuse to consider an application for an FSSA authorisation that is incomplete or not made in accordance with this section.
