§ 81 — Validity of licence and consignment permit

81.—(1) Every licence granted under this Part is in force for the period (not exceeding 5 years) specified in the licence —(a)

except when it is wholly suspended under section 83(2); and

(b)

unless it is earlier revoked under section 83(1).

(2) Every consignment permit granted under this Part is in force for the period stated in the permit unless —(a)

it is earlier cancelled under section 84; or

(b)

the consignment covered by the permit has been imported, exported or transhipped, as the case may be.
