§ 219 — Public servant in a judicial proceeding making an order, etc., which he knows to be contrary to law

219. Whoever, being a public servant, corruptly or with intent to cause injury to any person, makes or pronounces in any stage of a judicial proceeding, any report, order, verdict or decision which he knows to be contrary to law, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 7 years, or with fine, or with both.[Act 23 of 2021 wef 01/03/2022]
