§ 53 — Punishments

53. The punishments to which offenders are liable under the provisions of this Code are —(a)

death;

(b)

imprisonment;

(c)

forfeiture of property;

(d)

fine;

(e)

caning. Explanation.—Caning shall be with a rattan.
