§ 58 — Application and interpretation of this Division

58.—(1) This Division applies to —(a)

every individual, whether or not resident in Singapore and whether or not a citizen of Singapore; and

(b)

every entity.

(2) In this Division, unless the context otherwise requires —(a)

any reference to an operator is a reference to an operator of a designated payment system; and

(b)

any reference to a Singapore operator is a reference to a Singapore operator of a designated payment system.
