Section 76E — Requirement to appear for examination

(1)For the purpose of an investigation under this Division, the Authority may, in writing, require a person —

(a)to give to the Authority all reasonable assistance in connection with the investigation; and

(b)to appear before an officer of the Authority duly authorised by the Authority for examination and to answer questions.

(2)A written requirement imposed under subsection (1) must state the general nature of the matter mentioned in that subsection.[Act 12 of 2024 wef 24/01/2025]
