§ 76J — Giving copies of record to other persons

76J.—(1) The Authority may, subject to such conditions or restrictions as it may impose, give a copy of a written record of the examination, or such a copy together with a copy of any related book, to an advocate and solicitor acting on behalf of a person who is carrying on, or is contemplating in good faith, a legal proceeding in respect of a matter to which the examination relates.(2) If the Authority gives a copy of a written record or book to a person under subsection (1), the person, or any other person who has possession, custody or control of the copy or a further copy of the copy, must not, except in connection with preparing, beginning or carrying on, or in the course of, any legal proceeding —(a)

use the copy or a further copy of the copy; or

(b)

publish, or communicate to a person, the copy, a further copy of the copy, or any part of the contents of the copy.

(3) The Authority may, subject to such conditions or restrictions as it may impose, give to a person other than a person mentioned in subsection (1), a copy of a written record of the examination, or the copy together with a copy of any related book.[Act 12 of 2024 wef 24/01/2025]
