§ 76L — Power of Authority to order production of books, provision of information or giving of access to data

76L. For the purpose of an investigation under this Division, the Authority may, in writing, require —(a)

a person who is believed to possess, or to have power to access, any book, or who is believed to possess any information, relating to any matter under investigation; or

(b)

a person who is believed to have power to access any data relating to any matter under investigation,

to —

(c)

produce the book or a copy of the book, or to provide the information, at the time and place specified in the written requirement;

(d)

give the Authority or any officer of the Authority who is authorised by the Authority for this purpose (called in this section an investigator) access to the book or data; or

(e)

provide such reasonable assistance as the Authority or an investigator may require for the purposes of accessing the book or data.[Act 12 of 2024 wef 24/01/2025]
