s 39 Appointment of Complaints and Disciplinary Panel

39.—(1) For the purpose of enabling Complaints Committees and Disciplinary Committees to be constituted under this Part, the Oversight Committee must appoint a panel, to be known as the Complaints and Disciplinary Panel, consisting of such number of public accountants and lay persons as the Oversight Committee thinks fit. (2) A member of the Complaints and Disciplinary Panel is appointed for a term of 2 years and is eligible for re‑appointment. (3) The Registrar is the Chairperson of the Complaints and Disciplinary Panel. (4) The Oversight Committee may at any time remove from office any member of the Complaints and Disciplinary Panel or fill any vacancy in its membership.
