s 32 Disposal of dead animal or bird
32.—(1) The owner or person in charge of any animal or bird that has died from disease or has been destroyed by order of an authorised officer must burn or otherwise dispose of the carcase thereof in accordance with the written directions of the authorised officer. (2) Any person who, without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with any written direction given to the person by an authorised officer under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
