s 73 Powers of Director‑General and authorised officer in cases of non‑compliance with Act or any direction or order
73.—(1) If a person to whom any of the provisions of this Act applies or to whom any direction or order is given under this Act fails to comply with such provision, direction or order, then, without prejudice to any proceedings that may be instituted against that person for such non‑compliance, the Director‑General or an authorised officer may perform any act or take any measure as is required by the provision, direction or order to be performed or taken and recover any costs and expenses reasonably incurred by him or her from that person. (2) In exercising the powers conferred by subsection (1), the Director‑General or authorised officer may, without warrant, enter any premises, vehicle, ship or aircraft and, if the circumstances so warrant, may use such force as may be necessary to effect such entry.
