s 11 Temporary appointment

11.—(1) In the event of the temporary absence or incapacity of any member of the Majlis, the President of Singapore may appoint a person to act temporarily on his or her behalf. (2) Such temporary appointment determines when the substantive member gives notice to the President of the Majlis of the resumption of his or her duties as a member of the Majlis.
