s 133 Unlawful solemnisation of marriage or registration of marriage, divorce or revocation of divorce
133. Any person who —(a)
solemnises or purports to solemnise any marriage between Muslims; or
(b)
registers any marriage, divorce or revocation of divorce effected between Muslims,
in contravention of the provisions of this Act, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $500 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
