s 30 Appointment of Mufti

30.—(1) The President of Singapore may, after consultation with the Majlis, appoint a fit and proper person to be the Mufti of Singapore. (2) An appointment under subsection (1) must be published in the Gazette.[Act 5 of 2025 wef 09/03/2025] (3) The Mufti is to be ex-officio a member of the Majlis.
