Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore Act 2009 s 81

s 81 Police officer may require evidence of identity

81.—(1) A police officer who reasonably believes that a person has committed an offence under this Act may require the person to provide such evidence of that person’s identity as the police officer may require. (2) Any person who —(a) refuses to provide the information required of the person by a police officer under subsection (1); or (b) provides information to a police officer in connection with any requirement under subsection (1), being information that is false or misleading in a material particular, and knowing that it is false or misleading in a material particular or is reckless as to whether it is, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
