s 12L Payments to include holidays
12L.—(1) To avoid doubt, the payment for any period mentioned in section 12AA, 12AB, 12DA, 12E or 12H, for which a person is entitled to receive payment from an employer or to claim payment from the Government for any lost income, must be paid for every day of that period, including holidays.[Act 46 of 2024 wef 01/04/2025]
(2) This section must not be construed to require an employer to pay an employee an extra day’s salary for a holiday which falls within any period mentioned in subsection (1).[12/2013]
