s 16 Composition of offences
16.—(1) The Commissioner of Police or any person authorised by the Commissioner may compound any offence under this Act that is prescribed as a compoundable offence by collecting from a person reasonably suspected of having committed the offence a sum not exceeding $3,000.
(2) The Minister may make regulations to prescribe the offences that may be compounded.[12A
