s 17 Minister may prohibit cultivation of plants

17.—(1) The Minister may by order prohibit, either absolutely or conditionally, the cultivation of any plant in Singapore. (2) An order made under subsection (1) may provide that a person must not cultivate any prohibited plant except under and in accordance with a permit issued by the Director-General.
