s 173I Transitional provisions for old registers of directors, managers, secretaries and auditors
173I.—(1) A company must continue to keep the following information for the periods set out in subsection (2):(a) with respect to each person who is a director of the company immediately before 3 January 2016 —(i) the signed copy of the person’s consent to act as a director mentioned in section 173(2)(a) in force immediately before that date; and (ii) documentary evidence (if any) of any change in the person’s name mentioned in section 173(2)(c) in force immediately before that date; (b) with respect to each person who is a secretary of the company immediately before 3 January 2016, the signed copy of the person’s consent to act as a secretary mentioned in section 173(4A) in force immediately before that date.[36/2014] (2) The period mentioned in subsection (1) commences on 3 January 2016 and ceases on —(a) in the case of subsection (1)(a), the date on which the person ceases to be a director of the company; or (b) in the case of subsection (1)(b), the date on which the person ceases to be a secretary of the company.[36/2014] (3) Section 173(8) in force immediately before 3 January 2016 continues to apply in respect of any information lodged with the Registrar under section 173 in force immediately before that date.[36/2014] —(1) A company must continue to keep the following information for the periods set out in subsection (2):(a) with respect to each person who is a director of the company immediately before 3 January 2016 —(i) the signed copy of the person’s consent to act as a director mentioned in section 173(2)(a) in force immediately before that date; and (ii) documentary evidence (if any) of any change in the person’s name mentioned in section 173(2)(c) in force immediately before that date; (b) with respect to each person who is a secretary of the company immediately before 3 January 2016, the signed copy of the person’s consent to act as a secretary mentioned in section 173(4A) in force immediately before that date.[36/2014] (2) The period mentioned in subsection (1) commences on 3 January 2016 and ceases on —(a) in the case of subsection (1)(a), the date on which the person ceases to be a director of the company; or (b) in the case of subsection (1)(b), the date on which the person ceases to be a secretary of the company.[36/2014] (3) Section 173(8) in force immediately before 3 January 2016 continues to apply in respect of any information lodged with the Registrar under section 173 in force immediately before that date.[36/2014]
