s 201C When directors need not lay financial statements before company

201C.—(1) The directors of a private company need not comply with the requirement in section 201 to lay before the company at its annual general meeting financial statements or consolidated financial statements of the company if the company need not hold an annual general meeting because of section 175A(1).[15/2017] (2) Where the financial statements or consolidated financial statements are not laid before the company at its annual general meeting under subsection (1), the reference in section 207(1) to financial statements required to be laid before the company in general meeting is to be read as a reference to the documents required to be sent to persons entitled to receive notice of general meetings of the company under section 203(1).[15/2017]
