s 76H Treasury shares
76H.—(1) Where ordinary shares or stocks are purchased or otherwise acquired by a company in accordance with sections 76B to 76G, the company may —(a) hold the shares or stocks (or any of them); or (b) deal with any of them, at any time, in accordance with section 76K. (2) Where ordinary shares or stocks are held under subsection (1)(a) then, for the purposes of section 190 (Register and index of members) and section 196A (Electronic register of members), the company must be entered in the register as the member holding those shares or stocks.[36/2014] —(1) Where ordinary shares or stocks are purchased or otherwise acquired by a company in accordance with sections 76B to 76G, the company may —(a) hold the shares or stocks (or any of them); or (b) deal with any of them, at any time, in accordance with section 76K.
