s 45 Regulations

45.—(1) The Authority may, with the approval of the Minister, make regulations for carrying out the purposes of this Act and for prescribing any matter which is required under this Act to be prescribed. (2) The Authority may, with the approval of the Minister, in making any regulations under this section, provide that any contravention of any regulation shall be an offence and may prescribe punishment by a fine not exceeding $5,000 or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or with both. (3) All such regulations must be presented to Parliament as soon as possible after publication in the Gazette.
