s 41F Requests for information, etc.
41F.—(1) For the purpose of forming its opinion in section 41A(a) and issuing any directions under section 41B(1), the Authority may, by written notice to any person, request the person to furnish to the Authority any information and document within the knowledge of the person or in the person’s custody or under that person’s control, concerning the electricity usage of that person or any other person. (2) Any person who, upon a request mentioned in subsection (1) —(a) fails to comply with the request; (b) intentionally alters, suppresses or destroys any information or document required by the request; or (c) provides to the Authority any information or document that is false, misleading or inaccurate in a material particular, or recklessly provides any such information or document, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
