s 24 Storage, use and dealing of hazardous substances
24.—(1) Every person storing, using or otherwise dealing with any hazardous substance and every agent, servant or employee of such person must do so in such a manner as not to threaten the health or safety of any person, or to cause pollution of the environment. (2) In any proceedings under this section, if any person is proved to have kept or had in the person’s possession or under the person’s control any hazardous substance, the person is presumed, until the contrary is proved, to have done so knowingly. (3) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence.
