s 78 Self-incrimination

78.—(1) A person is not excused from disclosing information to the Authority, pursuant to a requirement made of him or her under Division 1, 2 or 2A, on the ground that the disclosure of the information might tend to incriminate him or her.[Act 12 of 2024 wef 24/01/2025] (2) Where a person claims, before making a statement disclosing information that he or she is required to disclose by a requirement made of him or her under Division 1, 2 or 2A, that the statement might tend to incriminate him or her, that statement is not admissible in evidence against him or her in criminal proceedings.[68 [1/2009] [Act 12 of 2024 wef 24/01/2025]
