s 49 Application for grant or renewal of licence
49.—(1) An application for the grant or renewal of a licence must be —(a) made to the licensing officer in the form or manner that the licensing officer requires; and (b) accompanied by —(i) the particulars, information and documents that the licensing officer requires; and (ii) the prescribed fee, if any.[22/2019] (2) If a person intends to carry on the business of providing alarm monitoring services at more than one alarm monitoring station, a separate application must be made in respect of each alarm monitoring station.[22/2019] (3) The licensing officer may, in order to properly consider an application under subsection (1), request the applicant to provide, within a specified time, any additional information.[22/2019] (4) The licensing officer may refuse to consider an application relating to a proposed alarm monitoring service in the following circumstances:(a) the application is incomplete or otherwise not made in accordance with this section; (b) in the case of an application for the grant of a licence, the alarm monitoring system provided or to be provided by the applicant cannot be connected, or be converted to be connected, to the alarm monitoring network kept by the Force; (c) in the case of an application to renew a licence, the application is submitted less than 2 months before the expiry of the licence.[22I [22/2019]
