s 63 Directions by Authority
63.—(1) The Authority may give directions to a gas licensee or any other person for or with respect to any code of practice, standard of performance or other procedures —(a)
to ensure the security or reliability of the conveyance of gas to consumers’ premises;
(b)
in the interests of public safety; or
(c)
as may be necessary to enable the Authority to carry out its functions and duties under section 3(3).[24/2007]
(2) Any person who fails to comply with any direction given by the Authority under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence.[24/2007]
